Concrete have been used since Roman and Egyptian times, but since 1845 it has been reinforced with a metal frame to give it much

more strenght. Many well known architect apply the material for there designs. The walls and costructinal parts are made with this

reinforced thechnique, just like the phillips buildings here in Eindhoven of which I got the inspiration to build this table. The concrete

was cast in molds in which the frame was. The molds were made out of wooden beams wheretrough the woodstructure is still

visible. And so it keeps the identity of wood and communicates clearly how it was build.
